Fla. woman calls 911 3 times because she says McDonald’s was out of Chicken McNuggets
03-03-2009 2:26 PM

FORT PIERCE, Fla. (Associated Press) — Authorities say a Florida woman called 911 three times after McDonald’s employees told her they were out of Chicken McNuggets. According to a police report, 27-year-old Fort Pierce resident Latreasa L. Goodman told authorities she paid for a 10-piece last week but was later informed the restaurant had run out.

She says employees refused to give her a refund, saying all sales were final. A cashier told police she offered Goodman a larger portion of different food for the same price, but Goodman became irate.

Police say Goodman was cited on a misuse of 911 charge. A current phone listing for Goodman couldn’t be found.

A McDonald’s spokeswoman said the company didn’t immediately have a comment on the incident.

I’m sorry but the women should have never received a citation her call to Police was justified they stole her money…. all sales are final thats the most rediculous statement I have ever heard. sorry but There was no sale as no goods were transferred. This is straight out Theft by McDonalds and/or the McDonalds Employee.. They lady shouldn’t have gotten a citation McDonalds should have gotten one…

I would like to see a cop drive through Krispy Cream and order a cherry filled doughnut pay for it to be told oh we are out oh and sorry all sales are final so no refund for you.

Today we are launching a new version of Media Manager for the PSP that allows you to organize and sync your music, photos and other digital content. The new media manager also grants access to the PlayStation Store through the PC and is designed to accommodate the expanding functionality of PSP. With the recent PSP firmware (v 5.01) update which gives you direct access to the PlayStation Store and the new media manager you have multiple ways to get content and manage it.

The new Media Manager is available as a free download at http://store.playstation.com.

Consumers who own the retail version of Media Manager (v2.5) will be able to upgrade to the online version of Media Manager PRO (v3.0) for free. To download the new media manager go to http://store.playstation.com.

Here’s a brief walk-thru of the PlayStation Store accessed via the Media Manager on the PC.

Based on ongoing discussions with our retail partners and the feedback they have received from their customers, SCEA has seen significant interest in the Ratchet & Clank Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack in North America, which includes the updated PSP-3000. As a result, we will be streamlining our PSP hardware lineup and will no longer be offering the previously announced 4GB Memory PSP Entertainment Pack.

Consumers who are interested in a larger capacity memory option can purchase a 4GB PSP Memory Stick PRO Duo, which will be available this fall for $44.99 (MSRP). The Ratchet & Clank Size Matters PSP Entertainment Pack will continue to be available in Mystic Silver in North America, and, starting in December, will be available in Piano Black.

PSP firmware update 5.00 added direct access to the PlayStation Store, and we’ve since found an issue related to larger-capacity Memory Stick PRO Duos, which we’ll be addressing with a new update (5.01). When downloading content from the Store to a PSP with an 8 GB or 16 GB Memory Stick Duo media inserted, you may see a message indicating that the media does not have enough free space, even when sufficient space exists. Update 5.01 resolves this issue and will be coming soon.
