Never signup for Clear WiMax Internet..

They lied to me more then 3 times in less then 1 week..

Lie #1
—————-
Before I signed up I asked if the USB Mobile Modems work with Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) I was told yes….

I get the Modems and no out of the box they don’t work with Mac at all.. I call they send me to page to download drivers well they only have drivers for Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)… 10.6 (Snow Leopard) drivers won’t be available until November.

Lie #2
—————–
For work I need a Static IP in order to login to my works servers as IP Address has to be added to the approved list if I have a Dynamic IP that always changes no way to put in approved list… So before I signed up I asked them if they offered Static IPs they said yes its $10 a month per Static IP or if on a Business Account you get one at no additional charge… After the fact I come to find out thats a lie doesn’t come with Business Accounts only comes on Business Plans so if I am on a Business Account but the Mobile & Mobile Internet Plan I am SOL or have to pay $20 extra a month…

Lie #3
——————-
This sort of goes along with Lie #1 as since wont work with my OS I called Clearwire last monday to Cancel my Service as within the Trial Period… Okay well Tuesday I get a call from a Rep asking what they can do to keep me and I indicated nothing really as wont work with my Operating System and drivers are not available until November and no way gonna pay for a service for 2-3 months that I cannot even use… Well she told me about their ClearSpot that would work… But its $130 I don’t have $130 nor would I spend $130 on something I really don’t want/need she said they would send me one free of charge… Well come Saturday and still haven’t received it (Trial Period now over so now locked in contract) I still haven’t received the ClearSpot so I go to clear.com and click the option to chat with a agent to see if its been shipped yet and to get the tracking number… Come to find out no Order on my Account for a Clearspot so not getting what I was promised and now locked into account….

Now come to find out I couldn’t have Cancelled even if I wanted to as Printer is Required as you gotta be able to Print a UPS Return Label.. Well my Printer is broken and lady wouldn’t just send me a label via mail or anything…..

Apple has started developer seeding and testing of the next update to their Mac OS X operating system. Mac OS X 10.5.6 (9G21) was seeded to developers this morning and offers the usual laundry list of bug fixes and improvements across a variety of services.

Trackpad Preferences on new MacBook Pro (10.5.5)
The new update appears to move notebook trackpad preferences into its own preference pane in the control panel, just like on new laptops. However, the update does not bring the newly-introduced 4-finger multi-touch gestures to existing Apple multi-touch laptops.

There are also no hints or indications of Blu-ray support. While there were some early rumors that 10.5.6 might incorporate Blu-Ray support, recent comments by Apple executives indicate support is not coming soon.
